Questflow Secures $6.5M to Build a Blockchain-Powered AI Agent Economy

Questflow, a platform orchestrating AI agents for the multi-agent economy, has raised $6.5 million in seed funding. The round was led by CyberFund with participation from Delphi Labs, Systemic Ventures, Eden Block, White Star Capital, Web3.com, Animoca Brands, HashKey Capital, Wagmi Ventures, ElizaOS, the Tezos Foundation, and CatcherVC. The company also received grants from Aptos, Coinbase Developer Platform, and Virtuals Protocol.

This funding will support Questflow’s mission to develop a 24/7 on-chain AI workforce capable of automating workflows for individuals and organizations while preserving human oversight for critical actions.

Multi-Agent Orchestration Protocol to Coordinate AI Agents

At the core of Questflow’s innovation is the Multi-Agent Orchestration Protocol (MAOP), a system designed to enable AI agents to communicate, collaborate, and execute workflows in real time on-chain. It connects siloed AI systems, allowing them to work together while keeping humans in control of sensitive decisions.

“Our goal is to build an AI agent economy that can support any workflow,” said Bob Xu, co-founder and CEO of Questflow. “From independent creators to enterprise teams, everyone should have access to a reliable, transparent AI workforce that operates continuously.”

Task and Token Orchestration Bridge AI Silos

Most AI agents today remain isolated and disconnected from blockchain infrastructure. Questflow addresses this challenge through two orchestration models.

Task orchestration allows AI swarms to handle complex workflows across Web2 tools such as Google Workspace, Airtable, and Notion, as well as Web3 dApps and protocols.

Token orchestration equips each AI agent with an on-chain wallet, enabling micropayments and agent-to-agent transactions in real time. This makes AI agents active participants in the digital economy, capable of earning and exchanging value autonomously.

Early Traction and Ecosystem Expansion

Questflow has already gained recognition from a16z, Cohere, and MongoDB. It was selected for Google for Startups and named Product of the Day on Product Hunt.

The company is expanding its partner network to include Google, Coinbase Developer Platform, Circle, Aptos, Near, CoinGecko, and Jambo Phone, bridging Web2 and Web3 environments to drive wider adoption.

Building the AI Workforce Flywheel

Questflow’s on-chain flywheel drives the growth of a scalable AI agent economy through four key stages:

  1. Create – Developers and creators can design, deploy, and monetize AI swarms using a no-code editor and SDK, each linked to an on-chain wallet.
  2. Use – End users deploy these swarms to automate workflows while maintaining oversight for critical actions.
  3. Pay – Transparent, instant micropayments ensure fair compensation for AI agents.
  4. Tokenize – Communities can launch and govern AI swarms through tokenization, enabling shared ownership and participation.

“Equipping every AI agent with a wallet is just the starting point,” Xu explained. “The real breakthrough is enabling agents to collaborate, transact, and earn autonomously, creating a self-sustaining AI workforce economy.”

Scaling the Next Phase of AI Collaboration

With new funding, Questflow will enhance orchestration capabilities, introduce ecosystem incentives, and open the MAOP protocol to developers and partners for real-world use cases.

As AI and blockchain converge, Questflow is positioned to connect isolated AI systems and allow anyone to deploy on-chain AI workforces that combine the reliability of software with the adaptability of human teams.

By enabling permissionless creation, coordination, and monetization of AI agents, Questflow is laying the foundation for a decentralized AI Agent Economy where intelligent agents can collaborate, transact, and generate value autonomously.
